I brought this book today at the book fair in my high school. I brought it 3rd period and finished the entire book right before the dismissal bell rang. I loved it so much. I learned a lot through this book. I learned to know that through tragedy "All will be well"

I have read one or two books from the P.O.V. of gay guys before but they focused a lot on the love and dating side of it. This book actually shows you how society treats the gays and it makes my heartbreak. I held my breathe more than once if I see the mention of "thing 1" or "thing 2" and the bus driver just disgusts me.

Besides that point. I know if was a good book. I cried almost every few pages after Charlie passed. I cry easy so whenever I read how Fern blames herself or when I was reminded that Charlie really did die, I just bursted into tears again (which is pretty embarrassing cause guess who read the whole day at school)

Overall, I loved it. I really did. I died when I found out that I'd never see Charlie's sweet face in the book again and came home to hug my own brother. 5 of 5 stars!

First story was pretty intriguing. I feel so sorry for Nancy. Her kids are *** too. I think, towards the end, I hate the kids more than the actual culprit(s). They were driven by greed. Her kids though, nope. I think the second story was a little more hard to read. It might be because I've seen this story somewhere before. Both great reads though.
