A chance meeting between Lexi and Jake leads to a weekend together, but then he ghosts her. When he finally reappears, Lexi must decide if he's worth a second chance. I really enjoyed the characters and the story. The fact that Lexi is a chef and Jake is a rock star only adds to the fun. I have read many mixed reviews on this one, but it's worth reading!

I found this to be an extremely charming book. Not only were the characters, Jordan and Ethan, lovable, but they didn't fit into normal molds. I enjoyed how they were so supportive of each other and Jordan's dad. Plus, the research aspect of the discovery of Gibson's Comet made the story even more interesting. This is a great YA book to read and have on your shelves for students.

I really enjoyed this case. I was surprised at how it turned out, but I couldn't wait for Eve and Peabody to nail the perp. There wasn't enough Roarke in this book for my taste, but I just like him a lot. The narration was amazing, as always!

This book required a little suspension of disbelief as it dipped into the paranormal realm. That being said, it was an amazing story. Thea was such a dynamic character, and her grandmother, Lucy, had my heart. This is a signature Nora Roberts romantic suspense, and I was here for every minute. The ending was a bit far-fetched, but I appreciated how it resolved. Add this one to your list!

Christina Lauren always writes fun dialogue, flirty interactions, and decent steam. This book is no exception. It's not really a fake dating book, as the characters are married, but it's definitely not a traditional marriage. Both Anna and Liam have reasons for trying to convince their families they are happily married, and it leads them to question if they can actually make it work for real. This is a great summer read!

A quintessential when fake dating goes wrong trope, I fell in love with Ellie and Theo from the very beginning. Their interactions were so fun, and the supporting characters just enhanced the book. If you want to read a fun, feel-good book, this is for you!

I had high expectations for this book. I liked the premise, and the first chapter hooked me. However, the suspense was merely average. There was not a lot of excitement surrounding the mystery, and things developed too slowly for my liking. I do love this author, though, and if you are looking for a slow-burn thriller, this would be the one for you.

This was such a fun cozy mystery. It took all the characters to a fundraiser at an isolated mansion and threw in a murder in a snowstorm, effectively trapping everyone, including the murderer, in the mansion. Locked-door mysteries are one of my favorite tropes, and this was done so well.

This is a new-to-me cozy series, and I really liked it. However, jumping in at the 18th book, I missed a lot in the backstory. I enjoyed the setting, characters, and mystery, so I bet I would have liked it even more if I had started from the beginning.

I always like when these books are set in Tinker's Cove instead of on location somewhere because I really enjoy the supporting cast of characters. This book had a lot of sadness in it, which I didn't really expect from this series, so that threw me a little. But overall, I'm still enjoying the series.
