This book was hilarious! It had twist, turns and plenty drama. I loved  everything about it. I was so proud of Zoey. She did not play with Davey. She stood firm in her convictions and put herself first. I love that. Loved Norr and Chaz. Chez was great comic relief. I still don't really know what to make of Kia though. Bc if Davey wouldn't have done what he did, would she? Nina, alexis, Lady and Davey all got on my last good nerve. Even towards the end Davey's mom got on my nerves with the meddling. Now Aziel was my boo! He played no games when it came to Zoey. And every time he called Norr "Dark Knight" I just about lost it. Bc he wss so serious πŸ˜‚ Overall good story. This author so far don't miss. I'm just sad I'm just now finding out about her.

Crazy!!!!

I have fallen head over heels in love with these authors. I love the chaos of their characters. And this book did not disappoint! I even had to give the rundown to my husband and my son. And let's just say they were both very pleased with the ending πŸ˜‚ I don't know what to say without giving away the story but it is worth the read if you like a good, edge of your seat, mouth gaping thriller. I was just like "wow" many times throughout this book. It's a quick read but packs a p*nch! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

I'll start off by saying I am NOT a romance girly at all, but this book here will make you believe in love. Midway through the book I told my husband this book is so good. It's so sweet. Like surgery sweet but in the best way and it's scaring me. πŸ˜‚ I was waiting with bated breath for the other shoe to drop. Now, for my thoughts...Gideon Powers was everything a woman could want in a man. He was EVERYTHING!!! I loved how he loved Rhian. He was what she needed and right on time. He was intentional and not shy about his feelings for her. To me, he was the product of seeing how a man (his father) is supposed to treat a woman. Both he and Rhian had strong, loving fathers that taught them how to properly loved and more importantly, how to receive love. I also loved Rhian. She was so steadfast and assured of herself and the how she planned to live her life. And I loved reading that bc through it all she wanted to do it her way. Like I said before she got Gideon right on time. He was what she needed to really want to get out there and live and share that with someone. Bc quiet as it's kept she kinda kept Brie and her dad at arms length. But I loved them together and individually. I loved their families and the relationships they had with them. Now D-Mark was a different story. He was a jealous, angry, bitter fool who moved off of spite. But the story was beautiful. Very well written. It was sweet, had some spice, I laughed, wanted to cry tears of sorrow and joy, it was insightful and hopeful. This was my first time reading this authors work but it will not be the last.

I love Henny and Jessica. I loved the storyline and the growth and development of the characters. Because they had one rollercoaster of a relationship. I don't want to blame their actions on them being young and having been together since they were even younger but I'm glad they grew up and matured both individually and as a unit. Now don't get me wrong I guess I can understand Bambi's position but as a wife to a husband with an overbearing sister Bambi was doing too much in this book. And the parents! All of them were tripped out in this book πŸ˜‚. But I am glad Jessica and her mom fixed their relationship. Same for Henny and Carl Winslow. I loved grandma Reese and Aubrey. They were the realest! I even liked Dirty, Lori, Bebe and the crew. They seem like a vibe and ngl I would've loved to see them all together with Shayla, Tree and Bianca. Overall I loved this boom. Every book so far that I've read in  Ladii Nesha's catalog just keeps getting better and better. The woman can tell a story!

Really good story. The female main character's husband made me so sick. His mama and her mama too. Both just terrible. I did however, love how hard Theory and Rema went for Phoenix. She definitely needed somebody that was gonna love her properly and he proved that every step of the way. Now, that husband of hers totally different story. He really was a loser mama's boy just the worst of the worst and her mama was wrong for basically pimping that girl out because that's what she did. But I love that Phoenix was able to find a friendship and sisterhood in Rema and find true love and happiness with Theory. I just been going through Ladii Nesha's catalog and I am not disappointed yet.

Solid storyline. Medium to fast paced read. Loved the female and male main characters. Even tho there is debauchery between the 2 mains dare I say it felt very wholesome? I just feel like the author took her time with the progression of these character's love story mainly because they were teenagers. They did just jump into bed with each other and I never realized I liked that until now. It just felt like she handled this story with care.

This book was so freaking good! I was sad, happy, mad, I swooned and I laughed... A LOT! I loved this story and it's progression and the characters and their development. This story had a twist I did not see coming at all! Marley the fmc, to me Marley was just cool and easy. She gave me the vibes of what I think So Lange Knowles personality would be...just chill. But Czar, my man, my man, my man! I loved Czar from the word go. I loved the way he came for Marley. He knew he wanted her and he stopped at nothing until he got her. I loved his character. He's a fierce protector of the things and ppl he loves bc of his childhood and I kinda hated that for him but it did shape him beautifully. Loved Harper, Romeo, Nova, Sammy, Biggie, Shortie, Pooh and Uncle Goose. I'm still undecided on my feelings for Jaxon. I understand what happened but I just feel like there really was something more with him and Pam. And Pam, hated her. She was awful. Downright awful to Marley. Wasn't the best to Harper either but she tolerated Harper more and I wish that would've been elaborated on a little more. Why the favoritism if you can even call it that? Bc she did Marley so bad you'd think Marley somehow wronged her. Also didn't like Cain. I felt bad for Ada bc she was young and naive and just wanted to be a good mom and protect her baby but she unknowingly created a trauma bond with Czar and that burden was heavy on them both. Now I will say I was mad when Marley went back to Benny. That was just dumb to me. The man never changed. And she was back in a position she should've never been in. I couldn't and wouldn't go back to a past love. That ship has sailed and I habe mourned the loss.

I would give this book 4.75 stars. This was a really good book. The growth of the character is what you want to see in every book. Rudy really leveled up and I'm so happy for her and her kids. I still love Iris and think everyone needs a friend like Iris 🫢🏼 Not gonna lie I was surprised at how Zacardi went out and I was also glad that Rudy didn't let that affect her. Glad some of the relationships were mended and glad some weren't. And Tweety, I still don't know what I want to say about her. I don't want to say that she deserved what she got bc she kinda got off easy compared to Rudy and I wished she had suffered a little like Rudy. And that made me wonder why didn't he treat Tweety or his assistant like he treated Rudy? Bc he really put Rudy through it! Overall good story with a good ending.

Really good story. Different than what I expected. I think it was because of the cover. I'm not a synopsis girl so just going off the cover I thought it would be some Jim Crow era story about racism πŸ˜† but it was in modern day. There are a lot of triggers, which the author does forewarn you about so please be mindful. That didn't bother me but the story was hard to read at times bc of what the main character was going through. I just wanted to save her. I don't care for her husband or honestly anyone in her family outside of maybe her kids. But I do however love her friend Iris. She is a true friend indeed. The story is really good. It holds your attention and can at times make you wonder what people are dealing with behind closed doors.
