I liked it, it's not bad for a first novel though the writing did feel a little like fanfiction. I did like the magic and love triangle and the direction it took.

I mean it was a book, marginally better than the first book and better than it's movie counterpart. It was fine, nothing special but fine and then it got wierd and not in a good way. Either way once again easy enough to read.
