Not as good as the first book, but did enough at the end where I enjoyed it about the same. Something with the story and the writing just feels off. :/

Not bad for a first book to set up a larger series.

Kinda cozy and fun, but the writing for nothing to too special. The ending felt kind of clunky to me, kind of like I wanted the explanation to either be different, or spread out more.

Much like my time when reading the first book, I couldn’t put it down. There were word choices that just completely threw me out of the story, like when they just kept saying “same.” Where it really made absolutely no sense at all, but it wasn’t enough to interfere with how much I liked it. The plot was great, twists were good, and god do I love dragons.

This book did a good job at setting up an interesting story, and I look forward to reading the next books. I love the characters and the way the author was able to write them.

Ok, so, this book was soooo hard to get into, which kinda makes me upset that I pushed through. I don’t really think it was worth it. It wasn’t all that enjoyable and the story was meh, but the worst part was that the writing felt kind of clunky for the story that was being told.
