jesus christ, this was in some ways better than the movie but in some ways way worse. for eg how astrid is potrayed in this book; she is exactly like she is in the movies EXCEPT she has slight..self worth issues. michael "cheats" on her and she BEGS for him to stay, and when she finds out he made up the entire thing...she still wants him. like for fucks sake, the worst plot line in this book. i hate how many side characters were introduced simultaneously. i still do not remember half of nick's family members, and how the one's i remember, are related to him! cannot believe how much they changed from the book, eg no one actually knows the youngs, theyre very VERY lowkey and only the inner circle knows them. but their other family branches, leongs & t'siens are known. HMMM, i still enjoyed this, it just was so confusing to introduce people who never were talked about AGAIN. waste of pages.

yawn, the main reason was the fact that this wasn't available in english so i had to read it in finnish which...made everything sound worse and incredibly cringe because i dont want to read sex talk in finnish..it sounds so weird okay! latter reason is that i just do not feel in need to pick this book up which says enough in my opinion!!!

oh wow..this has been the wildest book i have read in awhile. possible murders, cheating, racism and god knows what. i really enjoyed this book, i couldnt put it down..i just had to read more and more and more. 100 pages in an hour is fucking crazy but ANYWAYS the only thing that left me bothered was the whole kemi&ragnar relationship..was it necessary to happen? because i really hate cheating tropes and honestly tobias (kemis bf) deserved more, like i didnt want them to end up together and with CHILDREN. i hate it when kids are supposedly be able to fix every issue in relationships..FALSE. and this book really upheld it which annoyed me, i loved kemis character, she was absurd, crazily emotional to the point where i was like girl you fucked him by choice tf u crying for, but she was reaaally well written. obviously im saying this because shes a woman, ragnar sounded hot but hes the type of man to ruin your life and he will, cus he can and will get away with it. either way he sounded really fucking hot. i'm umm happy for brittany, that woman had been through too much but is it bad that i hold up hope that jonny and her will end up together...he was quite mental though and the whole fetish thing got me like ?????? nigga bfr....but yeah i liked this book...maybe even loved perhaps!

me and my endless curiousity led me into starting this book, only to end up 60 fucking pages far and despising the entire plot, the characters and literally everything. this is the type of shit i would have written when i was 12, staying up late filled with endless boredom. this doesnt even seem like a book, i feel like im GENUINELY reading wattpad. and these type of plots are getting boring, its 2024. i get loving love but can we start creating women as leads who know their self-worth and dont end up running to some loser, walking std (this is fucking disgustin) just because he...bought her a bag that she wanted! says that he loves her but keeps fucking girls all the time and brought the woman he cheated on her with to HER MOTHERS PARTY. anyone who ships them, likes this book and considers themselves as women, im so sorry, but you guys need to wake up. these type of books are the EXACT reason, why bitches (apologies..) keep glorifying damaged, toxic relationships because it's just a book. like this is probably the worst book ive started this year....and i regret it.
i 100% get fiction is fiction but what we consume, alters our brains and slowly becomes our reality thus we consume it! this is just basic psychology.

ohmygod i cannot stress how much i hated the whole conservatiness or whatever this was, i dont think this was a love triangle though...i mean maybe it was in a sense that luke truly wanted nadia, nadia just wanted aubrey's friendship and in the end aubrey wanted luke. i cannot STRESS how much i hate luke, that motherfucker should kill himself and aubrey is one sad of a woman for staying with luke knowing nadia and luke are fucking and he didnt even 'love' her until she got pregnant...and she only stayed with him cus she wanted to win nadia in something, like thats so fucking sad. she dont even love herself. AND NADIA? who the fuck fucks her best friends husband...WHO? and then tries to amend things, like girl you shouldve just stayed awayyyyyyyyyyy. but like all three of them were horrible in some level, self loathing is disease and i hope i never end up like aubrey...cus thats foolish!

only a man would describe a womans ass as 'tight buns' and make the woman character type out 'two beautiful sets pair of breasts'...like what the fuck?
also i cannot understand this plot to save my life? i thought the narrator was a WOMAN and then i saw the 'my hard penis' shit, i was PISSED. also where the fuck did that bitch sumire popped out from??
