loved how meta this whole thing was. unlike anything I’ve ever read. very informative and interesting!

I swear to god, this spin off is better than the Bridgerton books and it would be a loss for everyone if the Smythe-Smiths didn‘t make it into the adaptation. the drama is straight out of a telenovela and I am LOVING it.

loads of traumatic stuff happening in this one. I found Yunjae a loveable character, even though (or maybe because) he struggled so much with emotions. ❤️‍🩹

this one had SO MANY tropes packed into one book, wow. I had a good time, but it wasn‘t my fav of the series, I think.

it was very well written, but such a difficult read. it was so intense and there is SO MUCH to unpack in there...

heavy stuff, which made me read quite slowly. so well written and a fitting book considering current events.

so much action and a lot more death than I expected, but honestly a great ending to the series (I know there are more books at this point, and I can't wait). THE SLOWEST OF SLOW BURNS EVER.

it didn‘t need the narrators in my opinion, because it worked just as magically without them!
