White Smoke by Tiffany D. Jackson

I liked the book but not so much for a re-read.The plot felt pretty slow at certain times. The ghost felt more annoying than terrifying.
Five Feet Apart by Tobias Iaconis, Mikki Daughtry, Rachael Lippincott

The story was fine. It kinda reminded me of "the fault in our stars".
If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio

God, this book emotionally destroyed me.
let's start with why. The writing was excellent, you could really feel the emotions of the characters as you WERE them. Also, the ending man. What The Fuck. I can't.....it was fitting for a book like this so I can't really complain. I feel like you'd like this book if you are a fan of Shakespeare and really love books emphasizing heavy dramatism.

A Dress for the Wicked by Autumn Krause

The first half of the book DRAGGED on and on . The second half was much better and I liked the friendship between Sophie and the main character. The romance was also very rushed and the ending felt very abrupt and give proper closure.
Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco

Hoo boy, we've got a lot to unpack here. I rated this book four stars and here's why.

What I liked about this book:
The sequel was definitely more engaging and slower-paced than the first book. I liked the writing and the setting of the atmosphere. I also liked the tension between wrath and Emilia, I felt that it wasn't forced at all and their love-hate relationship wasn't as forced as in the first. I liked Emilia's quips and banter in KOTC.
Now, onto the things I didn't like:
Emilia just gets more and more impulsive in this book. I feel like a lot of trouble could have been avoided if she just took a fuccin chill pill. The book also keeps using "fuck", and 'ass', like huh?? pretty sure this is the eighteenth century. At least commit to the vocabulary used in the century. The plot twist also felt pretty weak. I remember reading it and going "that's it? that's the twist?".Kinda ruined the build-up towards the mystery behind Vittoria's murder.
All in all, i feel that this book was pretty good. Can't wait to read the sequel!
