I think i actually liked this one more than the sunbearer trials !!! Very percy jackson core, especially the snarky comments (xiao i'm looking at you). Still think i'm now too old to be the target demographic and fully appreciate everything, but still a strong read nonetheless

Andrew Joseph White i will read whatever you put out and i will love it endlessly.
Compound fracture is as per usual an absolutely brilliant book with an absolutely brilliant plot and absolutely brilliant characters. I could go on and on about Miles and the struggles he faces and his anger and how he still overcomes everything life throws at it. I could probably write a very very long review about everything i adored in this but i wont because i stayed up too late to read this in one sitting and i have to shower and Miles would get how i feel about that actually.
To put it simply, this is exactly my brand of horror, once again. And it resonates perfectly with the political climate in my country rn (oui oui baguette land being lowkey under a coup and everything) so that's a plus.

I really really enjoyed this book and its lovely, wonderfully human characters. It was such a good depiction of growing up in a small town, of feeling like you're the only queer person there, and coming into your own, and finding community. The writing was really fluid, and i'm glad teens have books like this to go through their teenage years <3

I kind of struggled to get into the book, but i became enthralled halfway through. Not quite as charming as Don't Want You Like a Best Friend, but a very nice read nonetheless

A love letter to Việt Nam and family relationships. Between truly mouth watering food descriptions and a lovely sapphic romance, A Bahn Me for Two is a charming debut novel !!!

I'm still not sure about how much i liked this book. I found the writing to be very agreeable to read, and loved being into the mind of Lady Roscille. I also appreciated the added backstory and context. However i was quite surprised by the pacing and the speed at which the events of Macbeth came into play. I think i would have liked to spend more time in the atmosphere before getting straight into the play's plot. Also, i loved the use of witchcraft, but i must say i draw the line with the
dragon prince which kinda felt unnecessary and the romance was...icky

All in one it was a lovely read, and i really enjoyed reading it around a misty lake in the mountains, A+ vibes. Would just have wanted a longer book ultimately
