First book I’ve finished in a while! Such a page-turner. Both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Absolutely beautifully written. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more Harris books in the future!

As a trans person, I felt like Yadriel was a very accurate depiction of what a trans boy looks like. I thought this book was very well written and I loved the character development. I can’t wait for the next book in the series and to read more by Thomas!

I loved the content of the book and found it very interesting! I think the organization could’ve been better though. It was hard to follow with all the jumping around between topics.

This will join my list of favorite books and Caleb Azumah Nelson will join my list of favorite authors… wow. He writes so poetically and beautifully. I’ve truly never read a better love written by a cis man.
