This was a fun enough little children's book featuring 3 stories about Violet and the Jet Set Pets - and their adventures finding things. A few little lessons in there which would be good for teaching children as reading. I think the book would be nicer if the illustrations were in colour. An easy read for an adult, would be a great book to read with your kids or have them read to you.

I will admit - I haven't read the original Pride and Prejudice novel by Jane Austen. I have it sitting on bookshelf where it's been for a long time, and have yet to read it. My friend was also reading this new reimagined version by Alexis Lampley, so I thought that I would give it a go as well.

I was not disappointed. Not only is the hardcover version of the book absolutely gorgeous (those illustrations!), the story was wonderful too. Since I haven't read the original I don't know how closely it follows the story, but this was a great one to read. The space element with the travel and different areas of space was quite cool and Lizzie and her sisters and family were quite entertaining. My favourites were Lizzie and Jane and of course Darcy grew on me over time too.

I'd definitely recommend this book and if you can grab it, grab the hardcover version!

This was interesting enough - in a way I’m honestly not sure how to interpret the ending and what I’m supposed to believe happened to them all. For a YA book and some of ways the characters talked, I enjoyed it more than expected. Not a favourite but not a bad book either. Just different. An easy read.

This was quite an interesting story - Alex is in a terrible situation that no-one should have to endure, and then she's put through the wringer when she shouldn't be. Her life has some interesting adventures and her job is great. Another story plays out along side this with the college and intertwines with Alex when one of the students involved becomes a client. Solving that case is very intriguing and then she comes across some details that may link to her parents. What unravels is a tale that you wouldn't expect and it wasn't until the author wanted me to start putting together the pieces, that I actually worked out the complete picture. This one definitely kept me intrigued and I would recommend.

I'm honestly not too sure how to review this. I've had a lot going on personally whilst reading this, and as such it took me quite a while, which may be a contributing factor. There's a lot going on in this book and sometimes I felt it wasn't explained properly - we're in the world of the Dark Ones although not directly, they're mentioned as characters in the background really.

The storyline of this wasn't bad but I did unfortunately find it a little chaotic. I liked the different gods although sometimes I confused them between one another but there were some funny personalities. Cyrus was an interesting lead, I can't quite work out how I feel about him. Cleo was interesting too, but more relatable - although she is the human character of the two.

I didn't mind this book, but I didn't love it either, I have other fave RVD books. The ending was a cliff hanger though which I wasn't expecting and definitely left me intrigued and wondering what will happen next in this series.

This was a good read and my first by this author. I liked the characters although I wasn't as hooked as I had hoped. I enjoyed reading this and learning about Mira, Will, their families, pasts and seeing how they would navigate this attraction to each other. An enjoyable and easy to read book.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked how we got so much more to this story than just the HEA of Lexi and Roman who are great characters in and of themselves - we get all the family and real life feels with this as well. I adored Callie and Fee was great too. And I just loved the Terror family in this one. This book was really just done so well, and the world and character building was fabulous. I definitely felt for the characters and was invested in all aspects of things.

I also love the set up for the future books and couples in the series, and am really keen to read those when released as well. Connor was way more interesting than I expected him to be, so he's one I'm looking forward to. Loved this and highly recommend.

This is a good record book for those having a new baby, however I think it's more suited to someone who is having a girl. The colour scheme does not really suit those having a boy. Plenty of spots to record all the milestones of your child. Also more suited to people who are very interested in the indigenous culture.

This is a very cute story for kids about how they can always rely on their Mum and all the fun things they can do together. Great illustrations too. A lovely book.

I have been waiting for this book for ages, the cliffhanger we got at the end of Killer Kiss left me gobsmacked and I just had to find out how Fawn's story would go.

For the past 5 years being with Eddie has truly been torture for poor Fawn and to think that little Otis has also been witness to this all as well is horrible. There are definitely some horrible things that happen throughout this story and I would not suggest reading if abuse is a trigger for you. In saying that though, I think Elle has written this really well.

The way that we get Fawn back comes about in a completely different way than what I expected but definitely fitting of the story and this world. There were some truly emotional moments in this book that had me reaching for the tissues and I'm just so glad to finally get this story and have it end up finishing up the way in which it did.

Returning to Saint View always feels like coming home and this was another fabulous instalment in this world. I highly recommend, but definitely read the rest of the Saint View Strips first for this to make the most sense and get the full depth and feeling of the backstory along with the events that take place in this one.

Now, how long do I have to wait for more from Elle and Saint View?
