This was an easy and enjoyable read. I liked reading about the racing world and I enjoyed watching Dev and Willows relationship go from friends to something more. Just nice and easy and relaxing read, would recommend.

This sounds really good but I started it, kind of got into it, but put it down and now every time I try to pick it back up, I just can't get into it. I also can't picture Kiama being a horrible small town with a big secret. I'm sure this is for others, just not for me.

This was a quick read, an easy read and fairly fun. I do struggle with short stories but I have felt lately like RVD books are missing a little something. Maybe it's just me, I'm sure this book is fabulous for many, but for me it was good and likeable but not as great as her other works.

Another great read from Sarina Bowen. I always enjoy her books so it was great to knock another of her back catalogue books off my list. I also didn't realise that this had that link to a couple of people from the True North series, which was a fun little tidbit for me. I liked our characters and just enjoyed reading their story. Would recommend.

I've been looking forward to Mateo's book since earlier on in this series and then couple that with the cliff-hanger at the end of book 5, and well, I couldn't wait to dive in. This is a bit of a slow burn kind of read at the start, there is a lot of build up - but when things get going, I love the relationship between Mateo and Vera and Allie is a superstar of the story too of course. There are quite a few things that need to be revealed and Vera and Mateo are just what/who each other needs. I love this family and this world that Devney Perry has created, and I highly recommend.

Love Made Me Do It - Saffron Kent

I tried with this one - just had to DNF. I didn't like the way the MC was talking about certain things and I certainly didn't like the way the guy was acting. Just wasn't feeling it so decided to stop.

Tempted - Becca Steele
*4 Stars*

This was a fun and short read about these two guys - it was sexy and fun and low angst which was great. I liked it.

Sidelined - Ki Stephens

This wasn't bad. A decent enough second chance friends to lovers. I didn't love it, but it was still ok.

In the Company of Darkness - Jay McLean
*3.5 Stars*

I always struggle with short stories and whilst I love Jays work, this one was still just too short and for me that always feels like it’s missing something. I’d definitely be interested in reading a full length book about these two - I think there’d be a lot to uncover about them both - it seems they both have family issues/trauma to deal with and also seems like there are some cool people around them that they could explore friendships with. Most of this I wondered what I was reading but then Jay brought it all together. And as always her writing is easy to read and captures you. Hopefully we see some more of these two in the future.

Onside Recovery - Maggie Rawdon
*2 Stars*

This was a short friends to lovers story - it felt a bit quick and rushed and I'm not sure I liked Aurora. Gin was fun, Gabe was great, but it all felt just kind of ok.

Call Me Teach - SJ Sylvis
*DNF*

Not for me - the guy was way too cocky and it all felt a bit forced so I just decided not to finish this story.

This was a great read. I really love the world of Quincy and the Eden family. This one has some serious things that bring Vance to town and are the reason that he and Lyla even meet each other. The search for Cormac was frustrating and intriguing all at the same time. And there are still things left unknown which I'm keen to learn about in the next book. I really enjoyed this one and I'll be starting Mateo's book very soon. Definitely recommend.

This was a rollercoaster of a ride. I didn't mind the two main characters although they had a very complication relationship rife with secrets and barriers and then just a whole bunch of trouble. There was some graphic scenes in this one which may not be for everyone. There was a whole lot of push and pull between Ana and Elijah and I felt that things weren't really resolved properly at the end - we could do with a bit more on that. I liked the secondary characters and look forward to reading more about them in the future.

I just can't with this one. It seems like it will be short, I got a fair way through, but it feels all over the place. I normally love RVD books but I've been finding lately they're quite chaotic. This one just seemed to much to me, just conversations that weren't making sense and the craziness of the Emory Games - I was nearly halfway and feeling like not much was happening and it was just all over the shop.

I hope other people enjoy this, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me.

I really enjoyed this read - it does deal with some serious issues but there are a lot of sweet and fun moments as well. I really loved Landon even if things did seem to move fast between these two. I loved the whole drunk dial thing and the reconnection between Rana and Landon and then everything that followed. Lilith was a stand out as well. Definitely enjoyed this and would recommend.
