It's like watching a car crash, but I canβt take my eyes from it.
The Horsemen are the most disgusting trash people I have ever read about (except you E, they can never make me hate you). WHY are they dragging Ethan all over the place when he's in such a rough mental state? Leave him alone ffs!
I also thought we were done with all the sexual assault in that house. Narrator: we weren't.
Because of Rosalie staying out all night (at a safe place with Fox(!) and Anson), Cole raped her the second she got home. Not even a hello before he assaulted her. Fox saw it but did nothing. Gotta give it to these charming men π
They treat Rosalie like absolute trash. I've read over 200 books these last couple of years and I've never read about such behaviour towards the FMC from people in a, supposedly, loving relationship.
And if Rosalie doesn't get her Anson when the author have teased us throughout FOUR books, I'm gonna riot!

Literally 90% of this book is repeating itselfβ»οΈ:
Rosalie hates this lifestyle -> the guys promise to be better for her -> Rosalie shows scepticism -> they fuck -> Rosalie cries -> She wakes up the next morning with a smile and life is good again -> aaaaaand repeat!
Throw in: Rosalie and Anson is hanging out and laughing -> Ethan says: "She looks happy, doesn't she?" -> Cole and Enzo goes out of their minds -> they confront Rosalie and bans her from seeing Anson -> they argue-> they fuck -> Rosalie hangs out more with Ansonall -> and repeat π
Also Enzo straight up raped Rosalie in chapter 6. Cole also borderline SAed her. He also assaults her with chocking her every time she upsets him. That was a very hard read. They're all suppose to be in this loving and caring relationship, but every time Rosalie says something especially Enzo or Cole don't approve of, they just manhandles her and force themselves on her. Itβs quite disturbing actually. After Enzo rapes her, Rosalie cries, he asks for forgiveness and she gives it to him. Gotta love this author lmao.
I love me some dub/non-con, but not when the main characters are in a loving relationship. That is messed up.
I have more highlights from this book than I from all my other books put together. And all my highlights have notes that says "eeeeeeeewwwwwwww David". Not a good vibe.
I really can't fathom why people are giving this series such high rating. It truly baffles me. Oh well, like I said; this is pure entertainment now πΏπΏπΏ

I don't understand how Rosalie can get so much worse book after book. The guys is always saying "She so strong" "she got so much fire inside her". I have never seen anything of this. After five (or is it six?) books she's still without any backbone. The guys use her as they like and she says nothing. They hurt her both physically and mentally and they think baking a CAKE will smooth things over. What the fuck.... She's still SO boring without any personality, dunno why Anson like her so much.
The guys are also the fucking worst. They KNOW Rosalie eventually would have a hit out on her, but they still can't leave that world? Fox, the country's best college quarterback, can't just... step out? Because they took a vow when they were teenagers? They all promised they would kill, kidnapp and torture people at age 15 or something?
And Enzo having to break up with her and having an arranged marriage? But he loves her sooooo much! Lol, seriously, I'm laughing so hard. This book is both ridiculous and absurd lmao.
I may have to DNF this series. But I have major FOMO. Decisions, decisions...
Also, the book has a lot of bad grammar. Dunno how the editor or alphas/betas missed everything.

I've read Black Falls High (the beginning of Rosalie and her guys), and I had mix feeling about those books aswell. I like to read the books in this universe in chronological order, and now it's more of Miss Snoozefest and her boys π₯²
Love Ethan SO much though!!!!!

I have heard some people say this book is racist, but I have no idea where they get that from. I canβt find racism at all.

The Throning and Cleansing was insane in the first book. The twists and turns and cliffhanger we got from the second book was also SO good.
Unfortunately, the thrills and tension that the previous books had, didn't follow into third book.
Second book left us with a lot of unanswered questions and this book answered almost every one of them, but the answers were kind of boring and anticlimactic.
On the other hand; if you love pregnancy in books you're going to love LOVE this one! It's packed with all kind of pregnancy.... stuff and even the birth of the baby. The birth is in the book and not the epilogue like a lot of books have, so we got to see what happens after the baby is born.
Also; the writing is still VERY good. Samgel is really in their elements when writing these books ππ»
To the Monarchs! π₯
