I have so much of mixed feelings for this book. It was pretty boring the first good half of it. And then when it turned into old people shenanigans, it was pretty interesting with a touch on abuse, and alcoholism. The heavy past of the characters were dealt with enough sensitivity and it was not very triggering either. But the fact that this book takes place over a week ish (and mostly in the nurshing home) feels kinda jarring and over the top. But a decent read really.

This book was mostly vibes than plot, but I loved the cozy bookstore setting. The writing (albeit translated) was beautiful and very thought-provoking. A 5 star read that can get you out of a reading slump.

It was a really fun book to read and the characters are so lovable. The quirks of these character  makes the silly adventure more fun to read. Really cool how we never got to know the Narrator's name.

It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable to read this book. The writing was beautiful, but it doesn't negate the fact that literally every other page was graphic.

This might be the best book I've read so far!! It was fast, and the words are simple yet I could understand Korede's complex thoughts about resentment towards her sister killing off the men she dates and at the same time the need to protect her.

It was a fun read, and it truly captures the essence of sisterhood.
