- Lily doesn’t have a decent support system. i know she says that she does, but having your abusive ex husband’s sister as your best friend (and literally only her), is not a decent support system?
- ''R: When can she stay over at my place?
L: When she can talk & tell me if something happened'' IT'S ALREADY TOO LATE THEN BESTIE, JUST KICK HIM OUT
- , i did love their chemistry
- I have to give one to Ryle here; calling your kid Dory IS weird (tho he reacted to it for the wrong reasons)

I looooved this series. It might be my favorite series I ever read.
I expected before reading it that this book would get an instant 5 star review.
I love the way Cassie writes characters, their interactions, their stories. For me she never went wrong there. The plot was meh tho, it was predictable and I felt like the battle was written on not enough pages (the book was long enough, most of it just had character development).
I loved Alastair and Thomas ❤️
In the first 2 books I was very into reading about James & Cordelia, and this book just didn’t have as much of that. This is not a critique, just something I would’ve loved more if it was different.
The Ariadne & Anna interactions were okay, although I kinda got annoyed because there parts always were clifhangers to other parts of the stories (I get why Cassie would do this, but it annoyed me anyways).
I just about started to like Grace (because of Kit), and then Cassie killed Kit
