Although the chapters alternate between Andrew and Jamie I often could not decipher who was who as they are similar in many ways. The start of the book was a bit slow but it picked up as it went on and overall I enjoyed it.

So much imagination went into the writing of this book. Nothing was as I thought it was and past almost every chapter I saw the whole story differently.

It's rare for a book to make me cry. This is a lovely book about grief and rememberance. There was a decent amount of repetition and sometimes I felt like the book wasn't particularly going anywhere but this perfectly reflects the main characters life during the time. The concept is really interesting and mysterious but part of me wishes this mystery aspect had been developed further

Reading this book after the beauty and the beast twisted tale was a dire disappointment. This books is somthing that anyone could of come up with. Additionally I did not like the insta-love trope.

I had been questioning if I would even enjoy this book, due to putting it off for so long I believed it would seem childish and boring to me. This was not at all the case. The story is so unlike the original, so entirely unique, it's amazingly thought through.
