Amazing. I LOVED IT. The plot was beautifully constructed. The characters were fascinating and engaging. Uncle felt a lot like Rocky from Project Hail Mary. The themes were extremely well executed and as complex as they are in real life. With the thoughts of scholarship, academic institutions hoarding cultural artifacts and relics, government overreach, and so many more. I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading more by Kitasei in the future.

Omg this was so cute. It was so positive and cheery and sad and hopeful and I just loved it. It was such a cozy campy book. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing ending to a phenomenal series. It was so so so good. There is room for another book in this world, which I really hope we get. I loved the plot, the ending, the twists and turns, the violence. All of it was amazing. One of my favorite series of all time.

The plot meanders a good bit through the middle and lots of characters and their plots were just not even addressed in this one. But the ending though? That was a pretty awesome ending. I liked that. There was an obscene amount of spanking at the beginning of this one. It was genuinely distracting

This one was better than 7, but still had entirely too much of his… spanking obsession… in it. The plot is chugging along, albeit slowly. The ending did surprise me. I’m excited to see what Perrin is going to do bc of what happened. Overall it was good but not one of my favorites.

This was pretty good. I’m glad Perrin and Loial were actually in this one. Egwene’s arc was wild and Nynaeve’s character has kinda stagnated tbh. Elaine’s story got real interesting. Rand has finally developed into a cool character that I actually liked. It just took 6 books to do it. The pacing slowed considerably in this one. And so, the slog begins.

This was pretty good. The romance was really annoying but the actual scifi stuff was solid. I thought the world was interesting but way too idealistic. It didn’t feel like an organically grown society. I really enjoyed the plot, the MC, and the action scenes. It had a very steady pace. I think the cover is hideous though.

I would love to listen to an updated version of this book. This one came out in 2016, so I hope in 2 years another edition comes out with 10 more years of her essays/speeches. While I don’t fully grasp all the concepts in this book, it gave me a lot of insight and challenged many preconceived notions. It gave me a lot of things to think about and ruminate on.
