A good read but not as in-depth as I'd expected it to be. While it's very informative it is very surface level and artistic, reflective of the human instead of the science.

A typical Christie with a fun twist. I didn't love how it was set up until the end, then I could appreciate the setup of the storytelling for this adventure.

I didn't love this book as much as the first one, but I think this did a great job of setting up for my heart to get torn to shreds over the rest of the series.

While the information shared is important and it gets you thinking about your own impact and ways you can help in your own garden, I did not like the author's writing. It came off very American-elitist and just gave a big ick with how they portrayed experts in other countries, especially those predominantly non-white.

This book hurt my heart. A powerful read and something to make one think about the different perspectives during times of conflict. But, oohh, my heart.

It was cozy. It l was mystery. There was mystic. Needed more cats.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 6%.
I was really excited about the premise of this book but it's missing the details that build the world. It's all dialogue and what she's thinking or feeling, but there's no meat about her surroundings or how the people are. Oh, and it just kicks off with all of this intensity that hasn't been earned in view of the reader, and also without explanation, so it doesn't make you feel one way or the other. I think if she splits this book and adds more meat then it would be really something.

I didn't really start enjoying this book until at least half way. I don't love how Other Kevin is written, nor do I care that much about his world, I love the Nerd Herd. Hopefully the rest of the books keep them included because otherwise it might be tough going.

I definitely didn't love this one as much as I've loved others in this series. There were a lot of developments and decisions by characters that after so long with them felt very out of place and almost alien. The last half of the book was good, but it didn't wow me like others in the series had before.

My heart hurts. This one wasn't a quick hreatbreak but one that ended up spanning the whole book. For many, there was no right or wrong, good or bad, it just was a matter of perspective and sadly, the time/era. Now, I'm going to hug my homies and tell them I love them.
