THIS is how you write the most perfect book of all time, oh my god... I was completely engrossed, hanging onto every word, on the edge of my seat desperate to see how the hell this is resolved. I could've finished it in 48 hours if bed times and responsibilities didn't exist. Perfection

 the tone and pacing were all over the place, with twists coming out of nowhere left and right. I think this would've been better as a romantic thriller with some of the themes Jimenez tried to throw in here. there were *so* many time jumps. I feel like 2 would be pushing it, with the second one being in the epilogue, but there were like four or five in this book that made the pacing really clunky and made me feel left out of the characters' lives.

I have also learned that I HAAAATTTTEEEEE when the epilogue skips the wedding and jumps straight to the pregnancy. Hate it! Give👏 us 👏the weddings!!!! I'm going to make it mandatory that authors cannot write the couple with child without ALSO giving us a wedding. I don't even care which comes first! marriage or the baby carriage, I don't care!! I'm just tired of being cheated out of weddings after the turmoil it takes for them to be together in the end!
