Alba (h) and Dalton (H), childhood best friends, parted when he left to seek his fame as a rock star, and left Alba bereft. For years they exchanged letters and packages, but the emotional toll was too great for Alba, and she stopped responding or even opening Dalton's communications. When Alba receives an unexpected wedding invitation from Dalton inviting her to her own wedding to him, she confronts him, thinking it's a cruel joke. But little does she know that Dalton has always loved her, and this invitation is his way of finally expressing his true feelings. Alba and Dalton's journey towards understanding and realizing their feelings for each other is both heartwarming and steamy. Hot and steamy estranged friends to lovers romantic quickie with a bit of angst and humor.

This was a really cute friends to lovers romance. It was a short story with a great pace. I loved how emotional the story was and also really steamy. Dalton and Alba had amazing chemistry and I just loved them together.

I am a huge fan of CMs work. I read everything she publishes and usually love it but this story is really lacking.
I can usually feel the connection between the two right off the bat especially with instalove but with this one, it felt hard to truly believe that these two liked each other let alone loved one another after 8 years of just letters.
I wish we had some insight on what the letters included over the years that Alba didn’t talk to Mr. Rockstar and some flashbacks to their childhood just so we could see the chemistry between the characters a bit more but regardless the book was a nice quick read and I can’t wait for the third book.
