3,5 stars.
Het deed me erg veel denken aan Hannah Montana met happy ending en alles, maar als turnfan toch heel erg leuk om te lezen! :-)

I kind of didn't finish this book. After about 150 pages, I got bored with the repetition and the utterly predictable story line and skipped to the end. I'd like to read a book that accurately depicts the world of an elite gymnast by someone who writes well.

liked reading this book from a gold medalist!

Cute! Filled a little more of the gymnastics-themed mood I was in. Fun to know Shawn would put in realistic details for someone in that situation.

Along with this book since i accidentally tracked it twice I am also giving Bottom of the backpack a collection of poems a 5 out of five stars! it was amazing and a lot of her poetry spoke to me. I hope to read another one of her books in the near future. I also highlighted the FUCK out of this book so i am now proud to say that it is MINE!!!

i was so impressed with this book

Charlie has always been focused on achieving her dream of earning gold as a gymnast in the Olympics. Charlie is pulling a Hannah Montana, typical high school girl by day and gymnast by night. Soon, Charlie begins questioning her priorities, especially when a cute boy comes on the scene.

I didn't find the story completely interesting. The characters were not as developed as I would have hoped. The writing lacked emotion. It felt sterile.

A fairly predictable read but I still enjoyed it. This is especially good for teens or people who just love gymnastics.
