I loved the first book, Jack & Cassie and their ups and downs. It was nice to read the continuation of the story, but at times i felt it dragged a bit and at points Cassie was really starting to annoy me. The way Meli & Dean's parts in the book makes me wonder if there might be another book or novella to tie up some of their story.

A wonderful book. Though at first I was unhappy with the team chosen, as I am a fan of the other team, but I got over it. This story was great. We got some backstory on the little "incident" that occurred in book 1. It made me want to throw my kindle again after a certain scene in this book, but it was short lived. I finished this in two days and moved directly to book 3. Stay tuned for that review...

I love Jack and Kitten. They really make an awesome couple. This book was much different than what I expected. I thought this was going to be a continuation of their story, but it wasn't. It only filled us in on all the missing pieces. I'm sad that it's over, but all in all this was an awesome series.
I gave the book a 4star instead of 5 because of Cassie. She drove me crazy through out the book and there were times where I wanted to strangle her.

I loved this follow up book, and I am a little surprised that I did. Reasoning...I didn't think this book was necessary as the original book had a great ending and you knew everything would be ok between them. I was wrong! I didn't realize how much I missed Jack and Cassie until I started this book. I loved getting his POV, and that he called he out on her stuff...Prove It! Great ending...now I want...no, I NEED Dean and Melissa 's story.

Just when I think I can't hate Chrystal more...... What a waste of life. Utter annoyance and disgust poured through my veins, I may have tasted bile on a few occasions.
This book redeems Jack. That's really all. It gives the inside story of what happened. I appreciated it. I needed it to rationalize what Cassie was doing. It also cleared up how Jack had been so easily manipulated.
Excellent.

2.5 stars. I'm not sure what is up with the bitchy female MCs recently, but I'm so tired of the nagging harpies. Cassie could not have been more selfish in this book. I loved her in the first one because she didn't just give in to Jack. When he called with the pregnancy news, she told him they couldn't talk about it and hung up on him. She went after him and tried to talk to him about not marrying Chrystle, but she didn't traipse after him begging because he said no. Then she told him to prove it and moved ot NY for her own career. She was actually strong instead of these weak women who just take their man back with no groveling or anything but an apology. But in this book, she was a bitch about everything, and I couldn't stand her. He was always worried about her and her feelings, pushing his female fans away because he didn't want to hurt Cassie, telling her not to check out the bar at the hotel, trying to talk to her about what was wrong. I get her not wanting to stress him even more, but she needed to talk to him about it instead of holding it in and then blowing up at him. And she honestly didn't think she'd be in the spotlight dating a star MLB pitcher in NYC? She knew what it was like back in college, so why didn't she think it would be worse in a huge sports city like NYC?! Her leaving was totally selfish, and I loved that Jack actually yelled at her and put her in her place. Wish he would have made her grovel a little more actually, but I'm glad they worked it out.
Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Meli and Dean's book. Love Dean!
