Bu seriye ara vermeden devam etmek gerekiyor belli ki...9. Kitap Demon from the Dark'ta gerçekleşen kaçırılma olayları ilerki kitaplara zemin hazırlamış durumda. Çok fazla etkeni olan bir durumdu. Thad'in hikayesini merakla bekliyorum demişim mesela, ama ara verince asla hatırlamadım kimdi, neden merak etmiştim diye

I just can't stop loving every moment with Nix in every book :)

Josephine was so similar to many other characters in this series. She is just a dash of all of them with heavy on Neomi & Regin. I know it is weird but I really sort of understood Rune and how he was hesitant to change what he was in just few days especially with his history. So, I like him and Josephine just fine. Getting to know The Moriors was interesting and now I am curious Orion. Can’t wait for for the Prince of Hell’s book now.

Really enjoyed this one, the sex was a bit odd at times but Jo saved everything by being herself

This was my least fav in the series. Could be also that it's the first one I listed to on Audible. I did not enjoy the narration. The accents were odd to me and the groaning during the sex scenes made me cringe. The story was slow....The characters were not particularly likable. Because Jo knew nothing about the Lore, the constant teaching was boring. I guess it was helpful to make the book a stand alone but for someone who has read all the books, it was a snore.

My favorite of the series for sure!

Love love love Jo, she's one of my favorite heroines so far. This was similar to Lothaire in that we have an ancient, jaded hero and a young heroine who doesn't know the Lore; also it is as funny as Lothaire. Needs more groveling. I'm not sure how Jo had time to do all the things that she does when invisible but didn't think to sit in on a school class where she could learn to read?
Loved the appearance of the Morior and Nix actually jumping in on some action in this one instead of just being a sage.

NB Houston, Texas is in Harris County. Houston County is in rural East Texas.

I really liked Jo as a character and the gradual development of her relationship with Rune, that is most definitely a "dickwad" (quoting the book here), but a very lovable one
