The Hard Way

Lee Child

3.92 AVERAGE

I didn't enjoy this as much as the other Reacher books. I found it to be a slow burner and didn't really get into it until the final third of the book. The plot was more straightforward than the other stories and there wasn't as much suspense or as many twists.

Reacher remains just a cool geeza. This story is well put together with the majority of clues not coming off as shots in the dark. Only issue I had was the assumption that the kid would have a favourite toy and that tied the whole case together, was a-bit of a leap.

Another good one in the Reacher series - detailed thriller, well-plotted with excellent detail of settings

3.5*

I always know what I am going to get with Lee Child and I wasn't disappointed. Jack Reacher is the best detective in fiction (from my limited reading experience at least!).

One of my favorite Reacher books.

So I think the twist is pretty obvious but that doesn’t interfere from a well plotted adventure.

Not the best one, but always hits the spot!
