Tessa Bailey

I LOVED this book. It's without a doubt my favorite Tessa Bailey book so far. Boy does Ben have a mouth on him (which is no surprise coming from Tessa) and it's pretty freaking awesome! Honey is a heroine to fall in love with, too! I can't wait for Abby and Russell!

Lol damn Tessa you really wrote that.

This book is the second book in a trilogy (oops) but even though I realised that after starting it, I still continued. It follows Honey who has a crush on her English Professor, Ben. After attempting to seduce him by wearing revealing clothes, he finally notices Honey and the feeling becomes mutual. Little did they both know, they’re also part of an extended friendship group.

This book shows many obstacles as well as fighting attraction. There are many twists and turns in this book and a lot of forgiving.

I really enjoyed the portrayal of the characters and especially want to learn more about them, having realised that this book is in fact part of a trilogy.

The spice level of this book was definitely not what I was expecting, but having read Tessa’s books before, her books are quite steamy!

I’m happy to say that I read this book in a day and it’s one of the books that I received from my 2023 Book Advent Calendar. I’m definitely now looking forward to read the other two books in the trilogy, and breaking my book buying ban!

I like these books, but the pet names from the onset make me cringe
