Volume 3 of the Locke & Key series was good but I didn't like it as much as Volume 2.
I still don't really care for any of the kids, the plot is interesting, the keys just get a bit weird

More of the same marvelous storytelling and spectacular artwork as the first volume.

In this volume, mom travels farther down the road to Drunksville. Kinsey and her friends explore East Battery and, of course, shit goes down. There's also a great fight that happens in the spirit world. And then there's the new keys.

The shadow key results in another creative assault on The Locke kids.

I wasn't too impressed with the Giant Key, though. It was the least original of the keys so far.

The Mending Key made things get interesting.

I can't wait to start the next volume.

I don't understand why I drag my feet on this series. I've made it through 3 volumes and each one has been superb. A rich, developing mystery that is inhabited with complex characters. The artwork is extraordinary. I should just go buy volumes 4-6 so I can read them straight through.
