I liked this book much better than the first one. It's and enemies to lovers but also smart-sporty vibes you know. Nix was so caring and he ends up in his grandfather's diner instead of going pro in football. Even though he wins the prize she wanted because of his dad, because he wanted him to become even more popular, he ends up paying for her tuition so that she graduates. She also stays and becomes and event organiser or something like that

I absolutely love Maya Hughes' books. The characters are amazing and everything is so funny, sweet and swoony - just the way a good romance book should be.
I cannot get enough of this group of friends. I love them so much and never want to leave them. Reece and Seph had a supersweet romance in the first book, meanwhile Nix and Elle have much more of a angsty and hardworking story and the enemies to friends-trope (which I love).
I am so so excited for the next upcoming books!!! I mean, I thought LJ and Marisa's bff to lovers/second chance romance would become my new favourite book but I think that Berk and Jules will beat that, especially after all the crumbs we got in this book. Jules might very well be my new favourite character and I am dying to know more about her!
Anyway, Maya Hughes proves over and over again that she writes masterpieces and everyone should read at least one of her books.

This book was absolutely wonderful! Every book I’ve read by Maya Hughes this far has blown me away! The chemistry between the characters is incredible, the group dynamic she builds between friends is addicting, and the romance is top notch!
Each of these books is better than the last, and the way she seamlessly weaves plots from each standalone into other books is unlike anything I’ve read before. I am SO EXCITED to read the next one!

This is a sports college enemies to lovers in which the male is not an asshole, so I was very surprised about that. The tension between Elle and Nix can be sensed since the beginning and their story is sweet and fun.
