A really fun comic, with a great cast of characters and excellent art. As others have said, the emotions and personalities of the characters were drawn very well. Gaston was my favorite character, the little brother who is forced to carry everything, and who is an excellent chef.
A great read!
A great read!
I am not a huge fan of graphic novels but I liked this one. Claudette wants to be a hero, Marie wants to be a princess, and Gaston wants to be a chef/sword maker. Together they set out on a quest to kill the Baby Feet Eating Giant. Along the way they meet some interesting characters and learn about themselves.
I like that claudette is more into awesome adventures then keeping her hair tidy and she never gives up on stoping evil and i'm glade she is a good big sister and when she tries to saves her brother or her friend marie because its good to save friends or family.
Can these three kids, armed with a wooden sword, Marie’s intelligence, Gaston’s fortitude, Claudette’s stinky feet, and a pug dog named Valiant, survive in the wilderness and defeat the giant? Of course they can, but not in the ways they might have expected.

Absolutely delightful story, great drawings, and it'll captivate readers from age 7 to adult.
I'm glad this genre is getting some attention and I'm glad to see the quality of graphic novels have improved. What a great way to reach so many readers. It's also fun to see how the brain has to switch gears from reading books to graphic novels - it does require you to read them differently!
Claudette is a fun, new heroine. She's brave, she's brash, she's tough, but she's also a great friend. Watch her with her friend and brother face the baby-feet-eating giant!

I enjoyed the story and the illustrations. Generally a good novel, though a few things were left a bit unexplained. All in al, I had a good time.
Pre-read before giving to an 8 year-old. A great, plucky, fearless heroine!
