If I could give this book more stars I would!

This series deserves every acclaim! It is truly a literary masterpiece that I don’t think will ever be topped and it not being more popular is a CRIME!!!

Everything is stunning, from the world building, to the characters, to that stakes, all the way down to very prose on the page! Simple amazing!

I want to say more but I am still so fresh of reading it and nothing I could say would to it justice! It is an experience I wish on everyone!

Overall, this book was good and it wrapped up the series almost perfectly. I loved A Torch Against the Night and A Reaper at the Gates, so I was excited for this final book. Unfortunately, it did leave me a bit disappointed. I was very bittersweet

I love this series, but this one was actually my least favorite. I think that is mostly because the entire series has led up to a huge, dramatic conclusion and it felt like the conflict resolved much too easily for the tension I have experienced throughout the rest of this series. There were still plenty of gut-wrenching twists and a lot of depth to this book, but I think the climax felt a little flat for me.

The Sky Beyond the Storm was the best ending this series could have had.

I was skeptical about this book after Reaper, but once it got started I  couldn’t put it down. The emotional twists and turns, the story, and the characters all added up for this to be an epic conclusion and a beautiful ending for characters that went through so much loss and suffering. But as the series reminded us throughout, “where there is life, there is hope”

Surprise MVP for me was Helene, I looked forward to her chapters and felt her pain and struggles so much. She became the woman her people needed her to be, and that arc was so compelling. Who knew she would become my favorite character?

This book has solidified this series for me, and I will definitely be reading Heir when it comes out. 4.75 stars.

I really liked the book, eventhough it was a tad too long, up until the end  when
Harper gets killed off... It's such an unnecessary death in my opinion. I get why Darian was killed, because Laia needed a reason to kill the nightbringer. But Harper?? Can't Helene get anything for herself? Yeah, she gets to be empress but she lost everyone in te process. Idk, it really rubs me the wrong way. Especially since Laia and Elias get such a happy ending together. :/ Suffice to say I cried a lot reading the last chapters of this book. Justice for Harper and Helene...
That's also the reason I'm only giving this book 4 stars. It was good, but it left me feeling sad and unsatisfied at the end.
I also did not enjoy Keris ending. She was absolutely vile and having childhood trauma doesn't explain away the awful things she did.
Those are the thoughts I have right now. Great series, but the ending was not satisfying for me personally.

It's an epic conclusion to this amazing series. I could not put it down. Just chef's kiss. I have emotional damage from this book.

I am in awe with this series. I have loved every single book. It is not perfect and relys heavily on tropes but for me it worked. This final book ran me through the emotional gambit and I am so grateful to have read this story. I do not want to make any comments about the main cast of characters to avoid spoiling any moments.

Sabaa Tahir is a true Kehanni and I look forward to reading all of her other stories.
