Probably should have been part of book two

I did enjoy this, but I don’t think it really need to be a whole book on its own. I think good editing and maybe a few less intimacy scenes would mean book 2 and 3 could be combined which would improve the flow. I wish Michael had spent more time apologising rather than skipping straight to the physical reunion, but it made sense for their relationship.
I’m beginning to feel like all the couples across these stories are following the same pattern which is getting a bit old. The couples themselves are different, but I’d like to see something other than grumpy/sunshine enemies to lovers with a third act breakup.

"You may deny it, but everything in you yearns for my touch, for me to etch my sign of ownership into your skin, for me to tattoo the symbol of my possession onto you, to own you, to dominate you, as only I can."

I HATE THE ENDING!! I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because this is a cliffhanger book. The story was just starting to get good and then boom it ended. Still, I love the character development and their stories were amazing! I am so glad I waited to read this until after Mafia Queen was already released or I would be sad.

The story continues

Karma and Michael have been through the wringer! Goodness gracious I wasn’t sure how much more they could take! So many twists and turns, crying, and many many feels trips!

Okay I’m getting a bit of fatigue with the on again/off again situation. I feel like this story did not need to be three books. Cut out half of the times they leave each other for stupid reasons and it’s still really good. That said I’m still obsessed with this couple and their story, even if they pissed me off a bit.
