A thriller on audio can be hit and miss. I didn't feel much tension

This was my first book I read by Miranda and I would give another one a chance, even though I didn’t really care for this one. It’s an easy read, it moves fast, but the writing is too simple sometimes. The whole plot unravels at the end, within the last twenty or so pages. The first part of the book had me hooked and it slowly lost me throughout. If anybody has another book by Miranda that they liked, I’ll take a recommendation. :)

This was intense. I wasn’t sure how it was going to wrap up.. I was not expecting that.

The anxiety this gave me.

This booked sucked me right in, kept me in suspense the whole time, and I couldn't put it down.

Although I found the ending of this book to be a bit lackluster, and sometimes the characters didn't quite feel realistic to me, I still enjoyed this book--it was very suspenseful and definitely had me guessing right up until the end!

Better than I expected! Not the most unexpected ending, but still a good story. The middle is the strongest part in my opinion, I was so anxious reading it.

I did this as an audio but feel like it’s something I would have wanted to read in one sitting! It was pretty intense and kinda scary

Read it in one day - couldn't put it down!

Was a little shaky at the beginning, but it didn’t take long to fix itself. “Little lies are the safest…” this book was reminder that things aren’t always what they seem.

Miranda's pacing is always flawless--I just have to Keep. Turning. Pages. The sense of claustrophobia made my chest tight, and the dread of being spied on made the back of my neck tingle. Living alone on a mountain in the middle of nowhere, reading at night...maybe not the safest feeling, but an exhilarating one. THE SAFEST LIES is another great read from a fantastic author.
