6/5/2019 - Re-read
Strange, but I didn't like this one as much the second time around. I grew tired of Rachel's colorfully streaked hair and tight leather pants.

5+ Stars - Keeper Shelf

Sweet Lord, this was one HOT read from the get go. This is a D/s relationship of the mental bedroom variety with great buildup and follow through. :)
Cole is now one of my all time favorite dirty talking heroes!

I also enjoyed the sweet epilogue.

I think out of the three I enjoyed this one the most. ... got me right in the feels and it was hot to read... I was half in love with Cole since the second book and he solidified my devotion in the first three pages....eeeppp

Finally, the backstory of Logan Mitchell's half-brother. I had a few issues in the beginning. I wasn't convinced she felt safe and I really wish they had established a safe word for her. Otherwise it was both steamy and romantic. Ella Frank is a wonderful writer and this was no exception.

If I hadn't read the next 6 books of the Temptation series, I would be a little skeptical of them staying together long-term. Clearly though, they remain crazy for each other. Makes this story even better.

4.5 star read for me. This was my favorite book of the series Rachel and Cole were great. What I loved was how the story continued to move forward it wasn't the same thing repeated over and over again with different words. I also enjoyed how the flashbacks really helped the reader connect with what Rachel was dealing with. The sex scenes between the H/H were panty melting.

This series has been properly named Exquisite!!! The stories stood alone and combined together perfectly. I loved Rachel and Cole's story it was super hot, funny, witty, and heartwarming. Ella Frank did a magnificent job building this family story throughout all three book!!! I am completely delighted with Ella Frank's writing style and she has gained a new fan in me!!!

I love love love the Exquisite series and Ella Frank as an author. The ONLY reason this is 3 stars is that I'm personally not into what Rachel and Cole are into, kink (BDSM), so I wasn't able to get into it as much as I was the other two.
That being said, I did adore that there wasn't as much, if any really, angst between Cole and Rachel as a couple.
