I loved this book but I wasn’t completely hooked. As a bigger girl myself there was a lot I related to and the book actually made me want to be like the girls going to Fat Busters!
The book is emotional, heartwarming and hilarious all the way through!

This is the second book of Lucy Diamond's that I've read; a book that I was excited to read based on the first book that I had read which was amazing. I found that this book as well was very well-written however, it didn't have the same affect on me as the first book did. I did enjoy the premise of this book though; three ladies joined a group called FatBusters to lose weight, and end up befriending one another, while sharing their trials and tribulations in regards to their relationships with men, their careers, and life in general. I loved the way in which each of the characters spoke with one another, and the good fortune that followed them as they began to take charge of their lives. It really spoke to me in a lot of ways however, I was hoping for more surprises, as I had received in the first book of Lucy's that I had read. Nevertheless, a great read; looking forward to more of her books!

I was afraid that this book would just be about fat shaming. It did kinda start as such. However, it did turn in to a beautiful story about women taking control in their lives and finding their voices.

I enjoyed this - it was an easy read and I could definitely sympathise with some of the turmoil the characters went through in their slimming challenges. Had the usual 'chick lit' happy ending which I was after when I chose this book.
