Had okay main character development. The rest wasn't that great.

I had to return it to the library and it wasn't keeping my interest right now. I will try again soon...I hope.

It was an amazing sequel/companion
I liked that we got to know Edgar more and that we got to experience what he was living. I also liked the relationships between the characters and Jules is awesome, I enjoyed the fact that she was more present in this novel.

Aw, this book was so beautiful. I cried when Oliver had to go back in the book but I loved the ending. I loved how everything just fell into place, though I felt a bit bad for Jules considering she didn't get her happily ever after.

But overall, this duology was absolutely beautiful and it made me believe in the power of a reader (and a writer) that much more. Hats off to Jodi Picoult for another awesome read and to Samantha Van Leer for coming up with such a gorgeous idea and helping it become a story.

The plot was interesting and the banter between characters was enjoyable, making me laugh multiple times.

But a lot of situations felt ridiculous and unnecessary, making it a difficult to keep reading.

Overall I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the first book.

It’s cute if you like books that reek of YA. This book honestly feels like it was written for middle grade. It’s so childish, and some of the solutions to fill plot problems are so far-fetched and come out of nowhere. I really did like the second half though, and think there’s some solid character-building, which is why I gave it three stars.

I haven't read anything by Jodi Picoult, so this was my first time! And I loved it. This story is a beautiful "fairy-tale" about how your prince can get out of your favourite book and live your happily ever after in a real world. Of course, nothing is as easy as it seems.

This book is so cute, sweet and funny - it made me laghing out loud so many times (Oliver dealing with things in a real world was so funny!).This is the book you need when you feel sad or depressed! Although I didn't like everything (sorry Delilah, sometimes you were annoying), I enjoyed reading it very much. And now it's time to get some Picoult out of my TBR - some of her novels will definitely be read :)
