I didn't know what to expect going into the book as I hadn't really heard too much about it but it was super cute. I twas light-hearted, easy to binge, I was squealing over the romance and I just had a fun time. And sometimes that's all you need in a book.

What I loved most was that one of our MC's, Rosie, owned a book store and a lot of the book revolved around this. It actually made me want to open a bookstore of my own. It had such a cute cosy, community vibe to it. It was just so comforting to read about.

A wlw love story involving books, Twitter, and power suits? I'm in.

I liked the idea here- it was like a modern You’ve Got Mail but with two women. The execution was not great. Their romance felt sweet but thin plot and zero conflict made the book feel a bit skimpy.
Lacey also held back with any physical descriptions of characters which made it hard to imagine any of them in my mind. The dog is “small and brown” no breed, no other physical characteristics; Jane has brown hair, we get no clues about how she looks- her build, what her face looks like, what makes her unique?
There wasn’t too much fluff or backstory added though so it made for a quick read.
