All the stories were great but Get Behind Me, Bubba Moon really stood out. It was like a Stephen King or Neil Gaiman story
Das Buch ist nichts besonderes, aber eine nette kleine Kurzgeschichtensammlung. Manche gehen in die Vergangenheit und zeigen uns Figuren, die bisher keinen großen Fokus hatten. Andere füllen Lücken in der Geschichte und wieder andere sind reine Comedy.

I only read the ones I hadn't already reads, so this didn't take that long to finish. I think it was pretty interesting (especially the Western one at the beginning...)
I hate reviewing short stories. I can't say anything specific that's true for all the stories. Anyway, I'll make the effort once again because I am a good and nice person. That's the only reason.
The first stories didn't grab me as much as the later ones. I think it's either that I was more ready for a novel by Derek Landy, but all I had was short stories, or mentally I was further along the timeline of the world when reading the whole collection. I think I don't tend to being prey for the latter, so probably the former is true.
I do rather enjoy the stories where I don't know when the characters I am familiar with will arrive.

Excellent lot of short stories! The only problem I had with them is that I had already read some of them because they were at the end of other books as extras but there was also a few that I had never read. Hilarious as always

Great collection of stories from the Skulduggery Pleasant world. I'd read a few beforehand, but most were new to me. I'm glad I got to read them in order as well so information was revealed to me as it should have been.
I liked seeing the characters and then reading the full length stories and seeing them appear and knowing who they were; like Black Annis. I knew her backstory so it was a lot more satisfying to see her in the real full length novels.
Great additions to this universe, really add to this world.
