It was good, a lot different from the other books and I think the first one is one of my favourite ones ever. This one was more about power, politics and how hierarchy works, and I wonder how Russian dystopies are almost always so good and plausible.... Gluhovskis writing is descriptive and literate bur also cold and stripped down which is really fascinating and rewarding to read. This last part was more challenging to read, but it was still good. I liked the ending - some closure but still things left open

Outstanding novel, it's like a dream you saw in a childhood that felt eye-opening but so distant that you can't explain it. I absolutely loved this! The beginning needed some focusing to get in due to all the plotlessness and details, but it came together quickly and was really rewarding to read in many levels

Amazing and entertaining childrens literature, I read this with my almost 5yo and we both loved it. Its so funny and clever and the plot is so good and has a good moral of the story!!

Classic, solid thriller. Nothing groundbreaking, but still an entertaining read. I liked the storytelling and how the paranormal was woven into the everyday setting. That brought S. K. Tremaynes books to my mind, and I also like them!

I love how complex and humaine this is at the same time. The author has a great ability to describe multifactorial themes with an understandable, enjoyable and beautiful flow. The writing (and Finnish translation) is beautiful and painting. I loved the diverse characters and multiple timelines - and even tho the intertwining storylines were predictable, they were written in a way that feels really rewarding. I wish that Konstances storyline and why things were like they were was explained, thats the little minus. Beautiful book!

Heartfelt read, better than Conversations between friends. I love the writing, its intelligent and descriptive but not at all pretentious. Its easy to get sucked in and this settles somewhere between a page turner and a reflective read, maybe like a calm fast read :D I really felt like the characters were relatable and the atmosphere was immersive. It still lacked that wow-effect to get full stars, I'm not sure what it is!
