All This Twisted Glory by Tahereh Mafi

i don't have words to explain why this ABSURD, STUPID series has been such a delight to read but it is truly everything. funny overdramatic desperately horny kinda camp riveting it has it all. 5 stars. idc 

H Is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald

laborious read. i see her vision and enjoyed bits of it, but it's overall lackluster in its construction and feels half-finished, too tentative at times. very unique either way. strange also. don't regret reading it entirely but glad to be done

this has moved me greatly... a wonderful little novella. highly rec for a rainy day, just very touching. great characters, i need a full series of adventures w the 2 of them

started out fun if absurd, slowly became more cringe and stupid than entertaining, ended up relying on a twist so offensive im enraged. i don't have a quote because fuck this book. pretty edition tho. im about to put it on sale for 2e 

Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee

love this even more on a reread! i will say the audiobook was EXCELLENT the voices were fantastic, jedao and kujen were perfect. great use of audio storytelling w the mind merging things that happen toward the end. 5 STARS THROUGH AND THROUGH

to everyone's shocking dismay the eugenides empire grows. better than book 2 but not as good as book 3/1, still a fun and mischievous time, love a series i can always trust to deliver. sophos the twink that you are 

After the Forest by Kell Woods

could've been everything and ended up being stupid. kind of really pissed me off actually. very disappointed by how little it delivered on the premise. i need to stop giving witchy stories a chance. THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO READ 

Raven Stratagem by Yoon Ha Lee

no words. read this before and still love it. what is new is just how incredible the audiobooks are, emily woo zeller's skill at bringing this to life has changed something in me (for the worse i think). 10/10 book 2 of all times 

The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder by David Grann

v good! david grann does his job of making non fiction accessible without sacrificing details/simplifying the complicated. entertaining and surprisingly brief (complimentary). audiobook is one of the worst ive ever listened to so do pick up a copy instead 

Artificial Condition by Martha Wells

a delight. i love you murderbot. ART was great. i really really love the format of these, im not usually a novella person but it's very well utilized here... homage to the SFF serials of thee olden days. great fun
