The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
4.0
I would like to state right off the bat that I am normally a fantasy/romance kind of girl. This was my first time trying a thriller and I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT. this book was amazing!
The book is about Fiona (who’s a journalist) who is covering the story of the old boarding school being restored but the school is also the place where her dead body was found. The book also bounces to four girls who lived in the school in the 50’s.
There was so much good about this book. I tend to skip paragraphs when the details feel repetitive to me and this book had none of that. I found myself reading most of the book with very little skipping which is huge for me. I also lovedddd how it was written and the overall pacing for it. I wouldn’t change a thing. I loved this book. So good. Amazing.
