Look I just knew brodan and Monroe would absolutely gut me and they did. In the best way. 

The flashes back to their past together were honestly perfect and added so much to the story. They both grew so much throughout this book. I was thinking I may not like Brodan at first because he was so horrible but he turned everything around. Monroe had sooo much to overcome, she was so strong. 

Ugh I just loved them so much. And that extended epilogue?!?!?

This was such a cute Christmas romance. Ellie and Martin had a great enemies to lovers story. I love how she quoted literature (both internally and out loud) and I love that he was working to make mines safer.

Such a fantastic story of growth and overcoming the traumas of the past. 

Shay had so much to overcome and was just living on her own. Brody needed a fresh start. When they ended up on the same island together, sparks fly. Like I loved them. I loved the friendship they built and I loved it once it progressed to more. 

The twists at the end were really well done and kept me on my toes.
