I really enjoyed this novel. I love the writing style, going back and forth through time and interweaving the lives of all these different characters.
There's two reasons this isn't getting 5 stars from me:
- The characters in The Travelling Symphony are not very well developed, to the point where I had trouble remembering who was supposed to be whom to Kirsten.
- The ending is "hopeful", but it defines hope as "going back to the way things were pre-pandemic", which irked me.

There are some ridiculous aspects, but it's highly entertaining.

Really sweet. I loved the activism / political aspect of the story. It functions as a guide for young people, but it never felt preachy. Everything that happens comes from the story and the character development.

I liked it better than The Priory of the Orange Tree. I love that it'snot repetitive and you are assumed to be familiar with the worldbuilding, so it focuses much more on the characters and their relationships. I connected to all these characters more.

- Alma
-  La condenación de Kenath
-  La confluencia de los infames
-  Ranas
-  Por una amiga

I liked the first story better. I'm a little disappointed because I thought this was a sequel, not just more stories from within the original storyline. Although with that ending, maybe not?

I did not connect with the love story too much cause it all felt way too fast and insta-lovey. I did enjoy the family dynamics, and the issues the characters were dealing with, and I wish those would have got a better development instead of the love story.
