Great addition to the series. It has a different feel as Sol isn't as upbeat as Charles, so this one is more an emotional read as Sol and Cameron learn to connect and communicate with each other.

I loved watching Sol get a bit of confidence as he starts to find his feet as a teacher at the school. He starts to believe in himself.

The relationship between Sol and Cameron was well done and realistic. Cameron was the teenager who constantly lashes out and does dumb things, unfortunately for Sol his outlet was also getting him into trouble with the law and social services. You felt Sol's frustration as he tried to keep him from getting into trouble and then Cameron putting himself back in the firing line every time he was upset. I mean I loved how it worked out at the end, but without Jace's connections it would have turned out very differently.

As a whole  I love this series, but if I'm honest this book is not my favourite. It's still a great read that's well written and a good addition to the series, but taking the guys away from the Kings changed the dynamic and the feel of this one. There is still danger present but it feels a bit abstract and not immediate. The most danger comes from Viktor himself as he battles his addictions and how he puts himself in danger to relieve them.

I felt the pace of this one slowed down as it was more relationship driven. Ranger and Vik get away from everyone and spend the time together helping Viktor get clean and strong so he can take the fight to the enemies constantly circling. His struggle was well written and the times in his head you could feel the confusion he was going through. The fact that this addiction was forced on him was harder for me as I felt so bad reading his struggles.

I loved how they both slowly got to know each other. They'd spent time together previously where their attraction blossomed but now they had the chance to really get away from it all and spend the time opening up to each other. Not that that was easy as they also had a number of half conversations that were annoying at times, as I wanted the information and was denied as the conversation was diverted by one of them.

I enjoyed the end and how it all came together. The Kings got their chance to shine as they circled the wagons to protect their injured mate. It showcased the best of the club environment.

Can't wait for the next book in this series and hopefully that Jake gets his HEA too.

This is a fantastic listen, as Cornell Collins does a fabulous job of bringing the characters to life
I love Charles and his upbeat personality. He is just a genuinely nice person, who has his struggles but doesn't let that get him down for too long.
The relationships highlighted in this book are so well done.

Great listen

This was an enjoyable afternoons read.

It does carry on from the other series by this Author, which I haven’t read yet. I didn’t feel lost in this one as events were discussed from Dallas’s point of view so I understood what happened, I just feel like I missed some of the information because we were only seeing it from his POV.

I felt for Dallas and the stuff he had to endure, especially being so young. No one should have to deal with that but definitely not an eighteen year old who was still at school. I loved his friendship with Benny.

I also liked Colt. I loved his determination to help his sister, and the fact that he paid attention and realised there was something not right with Dallas, He took the time to get to know him and allowed Dallas the time to get to understand his feelings. When Chloe was angry he gave her the space to come to terms with her anger and let her make the decision on how she was going to handle it, without forcing the issue and getting in her face.

I did think the ages of the characters a little detrimental at times as I just didn’t buy the met my soulmate at 18 and this is it for me. The first guy I’ve slept with and this is it, this is love and it’s all HEA. Sure it happens, but I just kept thinking what about later on.

I do want to go back a read the other series and see If that changes my mind on some of this, and I really wany Benny’s story.

Wow – what a great ending to the series and one of the best books of the series. The chapters alternate between current day and the period of the first book where this time we see things through Nikolas’ point of view.

I loved the insight into Alexi’s mind and how his thought processes were during that time. He and Ben definitely had a different outlook on that time and Alexi showcased his master manipulation skills. Some of his decisions were very questionable and brutal.

I enjoyed seeing Philippa from Alexi’s point of view and how they were pretty similar (Philippa without the murderous tendencies) but you could see how they formed a great friendship. I did lose what happened at the end between them as I know Nikolas was requested to be scarce during the time and he actually was but did the present end the friendship entirely.

I liked how the Michael finally dropped the joker act with Ben and gave him a few home truths. Ben really didn’t want to know and stayed with his head in the sand throughout the series. He did put Nik on a pedestal and when seeing things from Alexi’s POV made it hard for him.

I loved the end and felt the guys had come the full circle, they have earnt their peace and now both firmly believe they belong together and deserve what they have.

Great series of shorts that carry on from the books and are a little bonus
Some are quite funny as the personalities of the guys are showcased.
I especially loved the Christmas one as well the honeymoon one.

And this is the book that the whole series has led up to. Each book of this series laid the foundations to showcase just how committed to each other the two guys were. They have their problems but when the chips are down they come out fighting for each other. Both of their strengths were showcased in this volume.
I don't want to say too much about the storyline as I can't without giving bits away. At the end of the first book I had two candidates for the Keeper of Bees, one was kind of obvious and as he annoyed me endlessly throughout the books, I lent more his way, but it was the hidden quality of the other that made it entertaining watching the guys figure it out.
The pace of this one was great as it speed up, the last few books have taken me a few days to get through but this one I powered through within a day.
Emery I felt for as he bravely faced his fears again and again and I must say I enjoyed his new therapist and the banter between them. It was also great seeing the relationship developing between John Henry and his father. They seem to have found a common ground and hopefully it will progress further along
This book made me want to start on the next series straight away but I think I will give it a little break

I liked this one even when the characters actions were driving me nuts. Again Somers let the partnership down. I thought he would have learnt a bit from the last book but no here we go again. Emery was just as frustrating at times, but Somers actions were for me the worse here. He showed a selfish side when Hazard needed to go to his dad, but he did make it up and came through at the end. Every time John's family is involved they create issues, and it's getting old.

The case was interesting and I enjoyed how it was solved. The guys worked together and both used their strengths. I've upgrade dislike to hate now on Gray. I can't stand him and the way he treats his boyfriend is horrible. I won't be surprised if he turns out to be a killer in one of the books or even the big baddie from the series.

This one started off with Ben annoying me stupid. His jealously because Nik and Michael were friends was extremely annoying. He left them, and yet is jealous because they formed a bond without him. Grow up. And then the constant picking and making fun of Nik because he was worrying about his age got old too.

I did like Tim having a go at Ben. I don’t think Ben understood why he was angry but it was well said.

The supernatural aspect was different in this one but made it enjoyable, especially the visit to the witch museum.

Ben did redeem himself by the end, and I loved that he finally connected with Molly

Looking forward to completing the series with the next one

This one while it had the background of the murder mystery it was more in the backgrounds with the relationship issues being more forefront. It's hard to discuss the mystery as anything I say will give details into who done it.

I'll start by saying I am firmly team Emery in this one. My heart broke for him as the cracks in the relationship widened mainly due to Billy's interference, but also both his and John Henrys own personal issues. I hate Gray, Billy, Nico and even John Henry a bit for what they did to him.

I'm done with Gray and his preppy persona, he encouraged the division when John Henry was drunk and then the next day tried to play it off as he is the helpful partner counselling them back together. I don't buy the explanation at the end, I just think that was a way for Hazard to be able to let it go.

John Henry at least shows an introspection to see and understand how his actions had hurt Emery. With his past and self doubt it was a low blow. He also is able to look back and understand that he has caused some of the issues with his inflated ego, and he does admit to his own laziness at times. His ability to actually see his part in the issues, is what resolves him a bit in my mind.

I know Nico gets his own book at a later date but presently I have no desire to ready anything further about him.
