This story was a perfectly lovely way to wrap up my summer reading. It had limited drama and a satisfying ending. My only complaint was that the beginning placed so much emphasis on the middle school incident but it felt like the MCs barely discussed it and it was clearly a big deal, at least for Phillip. It really is a minor sticking point, though, given that the book is mostly light and entertaining. It's worth reading for fun.

This story is the best kind of roller coaster read! It is full of twists, turns, and topsy turvy craziness. No one is likable, but I loved all of them. The character development in this one shows exactly how to write characters with few, if any, redeemable qualities and still make a reader want to know what happens to them. I was completely enthralled by this story even though I could care less about social media, influencers, or LA, and that says it all.
