Love love loved this one. Technicality’s made me give it a 4.75 but honestly it’s 5 🌟 in my heart.
Although the beginning was a tad slow and predictable for my liking I ate this book up. The fast moving plot alongside the complex characters and super unique story made it an instant lover.
Would defo recommend for those looking for a thriller that makes you think “outside the box” 😝
This book generally had me so baffled and confused at times. Like don’t get me wrong. I get that she was really evil but like things weren’t explained very well? The plot twist that she actually did kill Alyssa was so last minute that I really struggled to piece things together?
Maybe it’s just me idk. But besides this the story was intriguing and page turning. Not as good as Monday’s Not Coming but yeah! :)
This was a weird one. Not for the plot or the characters but more so for the pace and grip of the book.
At 100 pages I was ready to DNF but decided to give the audiobook a chance. Even the body shaming tone of the book shocked me. Only with the audiobook addition was I able to finish. The books plot strays from expectations but not in a necessary captivating way. What kept me going really were the minor plot twists and gorgeous descriptions of food.
If nothing else this book made me hungry. Just sadly was a bit of a disappointment plot wise.
Honestly a devastating delight to read. Characters were so complex and fascinating that each turn in the story made it impossible to put down.
Pretty sure I read like 250 pages in one day? Although the end was a lil predictable it didn’t make its execution any less gut wrenching! Top quality horror thriller recommendation.
