By the rate I'm reading this series, I have a feeling this is going to turn into one of my favorite series this year! I was so thoroughly entertained by Murderbot's thoughts and the characters that were introduced in this 2nd installation! I laughed more for this book than the last and the humor absolutely landed for me. Not only that, the plot is drawing me in inch by inch and I am so curious how this entire story as a whole is going to keep growing and develop itself. Really excited for the next book and am having a fantastic time as I delve deeper into this world! Loved this!!

Really had me reflecting over 2020 and how one can handle such a crazy time period in our lives. And just how important family and your loved ones are. Listening to it in audiobook format was great and the narrator hit every line harder than the last. Overall, I really liked it and it got me back into reading again after a month slump!

Okay, I had some idea of what I was getting into, but I DID NOT expect to get so invested in Murderbot. I genuinely laughed at Murderbot's thoughts and his point of view absolutely fascinated me. How they view the world and their relatable desire to escape their reality of being a robot whose job is to, well, murder. And how "his" humans treated him made me both laugh and cringe from the sheer awkwardness that pours out of Murderbot to a hilarious degree. Overall, I 100% want to read the rest of the series and am very impressed by how fast this short novella got me invested in Murderbot's life. I am excited to see how the world and Murderbot's experiences will expand as the series goes on! Really glad I picked this up!!

The book came off as such a calm, happy little thing until we reached the last stretch of it. Then it became off-the-wall bonkers and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. It really was an Experience to read and I never would've predicted the direction it went in. Not only that, the way this author created a completely fictional culture was so real that I WISH they existed in real life. Life would be so much more interesting if they did. As for the narrator, they definitely had a fun time reading this and had a dramatic voice that truly enhanced the events happening and made me laugh multiple times. So my consensus is, this was genuinely so much fun to listen to! And it was wilder than I expected it to be, and I loved it! Definitely recommend!
