If you didn't like Twilight's Bella, then you'll hate the main character in this book, Angela.
I picked it up while waiting at Paris' Airport, the only English chicklit book in their selection. I regret it.
Never before I had wished the main character would be better off rotten and failed. I didn't think she had any redeeming quality... unless a love of designer stuff and total clumsiness/ignorance are passable as redeeming.
This book was advertised as "If you like Sex and the City..." so maybe, just maybe if you like Sex and the City, you'd like this too. I love chicklits but I can't stand Sex and the City (the movie).
For me, the only good thing about this book was the setting. It has a decent portrayal of Paris, and it made me want to go there again.

I know I say it every time but I really really love this series. I am so emotionally invested in Angela and the central relationship in this series. I did not really quite how emotionally invested I was until this book. I laughed, I cried and felt like I was truly living along side Angela Clark. Very well written and I will be forcing this book on my friends.

Poor. Weak main character, and found the 'your bag was destroyed' scene quite pathetic.
Totally entertaining chick lit. A quick and funny read.
I didn't realize this book was a part of a series when I bought it (or at least I thought the series wasn't about the same characters) and only found out once I finished the book. But it was still quite easy to follow as the major plot points were mentioned there several times and I assume it was all there was to it.
But while the book was fairly easy to read, which I appreciated, I wouldn't mind a bit more drama and maybe some sort of plot twist or surprises. Also I'm glad this book didn't go too far in making the main character being a complete idiot as it happens in a lot of chick lits.
Overall I enjoyed this book, but I most likely won't be reading the rest of the series.

I actually fell in love with Paris
I have been to Paris a bunch of times, and I hate it. I've always found it cold, dirty, and over expensive. However Kelk writes Paris in a way that really makes me want to go back.
Angela is the embodiment of most women's worries and you can't help but love her. Alex needs a slap sometimes but blimey he's hot!
