If I had to say anything to the negative, I have only one small complaint. Most of the book is narrated by Teagan, but every few chapters we get an update with Reggie. While Teagan's chapters are written in first-person perspective, Reggie's are written in third-person, and the change never failed to disorient me for a few paragraphs once I hit a Reggie segment. It's nothing that ultimately dragged down my experience with the book in any major way, but it did strike me as somewhat awkward.
I didn't actually realize this was part of series when I bought it, and I considered going back and reading the first two books first once I figured it out, but by that point I was already too invested to put this one down for long enough to make the drive back to B&N. Rest assured, I will be reading books 1 and 2 as soon as I can (plus the fourth one after that ending), because this entry has me hooked and wanting more!

"Telling someone what they said was problematic was like throwing a tennis ball at a wall. You’d entertain yourself, for a while, but you were never busting through."
I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, and I'm still not sure why it took me TWO years to actually pick up the third book. Eye Of The Sh*t Storm is just as crazy, exhilarating and action-packed as the first two books, and I would definitely suggest reading the books in order both to properly understand what is going on and to avoid major spoilers. We finally get mainly Teagan's POV in this sequel, although Reggie's POV does pop up every once in a while... But no annoying villain POV to ruin the day this time around, and this is probably why Eye Of The Sh*t Storm is my favorite sequel to date. It has the same blunt and sarcastic humor I've become used to, and it works SO well to defuse some of the constant tension in the plot... It is also one of the reasons why I love Teagan so much as a character; she is simply hilarious and her special powers make her more than memorable. Los Angeles isn't exactly in good shape after what happened in the first two books, and it sets the scene for this sequel... Add a new player with electrical powers, and things are getting very interesting (and dangerous) indeed. Especially with more than one adversary in play... With its fast pace, I literally raced through Eye Of The Sh*t Storm as I HAD to know how it would all end. Sure, the plot isn't exactly credible and basically absolutely bonkers, but if you are able to just sit back and enjoy the wild ride it is an encredibly entertaining one. I'm looking forward to see what book four will bring!

- Huge typo where the boy Leo is written as Matthew
- A very woke-stance that didn't belong in the story. We're not geese, stop shoving it down our throats
- Why more Nic when we desperately need Schmidt
The way you knew Matthew had to die in the last novel is the same as you now know that Leo needs to be saved. Curious or maybe just well written.
Reggie is a powerhouse and that is something to root for. And strong Annie fighting demons is something worth being depicted.

I read the first Teagan Frost novel, the girl who could move sh*t with her mind, and really enjoyed it. I couldn't get my hands on the second one easily, so I jumped into the third. Tbh it was fine to do that. I know I missed a chunk of plot and character development, but there is plenty of recap throughout. I was able to enjoy this one without reading the 2nd book.
This was a wild ride. Non-stop thrills and action. I need a Teagan length nap before starting the next one, but I'm hooked.
