King of Greed is the third book of Kings of Sin series. Each book is about a different sin and this one focuses on Greed.

Dominic and Alessandra got married for a decade. It was slowly killing Alessandra how she was never a priority for her own husband, so after years of being an afterthought she finally decided to leave her husband. They had changed during the years but she was sick of him never giving her the time and thinking that money could fix everything.

I loved Alessandra finally having enough and deciding to put herself first as she was proven time and time again that he wasn't going to do it. We love a girl who finally stops putting her life on hold for a man. In this house we don't let men neglect or take us for granted.

That being said, I also felt bad for Dominic. He was so inside his own head and fear of not having enough money that he didn't even realize how unhappy his wife was. Her wanting to go to therapy few years ago should've been a wake up call, though.

All in all I liked this book but I had so much hope for it that wasn't fulfilled. I can't believe that they actually divorced and that she dated other people. It did them good to be apart for awhile because they came back stronger. It was a story of forgiveness, love and learning to be yourself instead of letting people walk all over you.

I honestly wanted to to skip this book and against my better judgement I decided to read it and not skip any book in this series.

Isabella worked at Valhalla which made dating her off limits because of the no fraternization rule. Kai also knew that she would be the death of him one way or another. That didn't stop him being drawn to her; she was beautiful, smart, funny and seeing her smile was like watching the sun rise. Being with her was the only time he felt alive and no other woman could compare.

Isabella felt like they were too different. Kai was successful, driven and achieved every goal he set his mind to, while she was unreliable and couldn't keep a job for more than a year. He always supported and encouraged her.

I liked the romance but I was also pretty meh about it. I was just waiting the other shoe to drop at any point. Kai was nice and all but I wasn't a big fan of them keeping their relationship a secret and him never really fighting for her despite knowing he wanted her.

Isabella has four successful brothers. She was closest to her second-oldest brother, Felix and I loved him the most from all her brothers. He was so supportive and didn't make her feel like she wasn't enough.

King of Pride might not have been for me but I think other people might love it.

It has been awhile since I liked a book in this series enough to feel like I wanted to review it. It's taking me forever to read this series because I'm buddy reading it with Ruby.

Qhuinn felt like a different character at times from the male we saw in earlier books because he had only like one scene where his temper got the better of him. His relationship with Blay wasn't all chocolates and roses but I loved their relationship much more in this book. They were always honest to each other and I didn't feel like one character deserved more. It was so great to see how clearly they loved each other and would do anything for each other.

If you've read Lover at Last (book focusing on Qhuinn and Blay's romance) you probably know how bad Qhuinn's home life was but the flashback still made me sad. I don't get why they even raised him if his parents thought he was so beneath them only because of his eyes.

Luchas was never a good brother to Qhuinn until after their parents died but I loved seeing that he's actually a good male. He was proud of his brother and thinks he chose wisely when he picked Blaylock as his mate, a male of worth. It also sounded like he really liked Qhuinn's young.

I do not like how many point of views these books have and so when we started getting Elle's point of view with her sister I thought it was useless and wanted to skip them but listening parts of this book in audiobook helped me get through them and I ended up actually enjoying them.

I don't know why but every time they bring up Wellsie I get annoyed. She was important to some of them and Tohr really loved her but I guess every time she's mentioned I feel like it lessens his love for Autumn. I already feel like she deserved more than him.

All in all this is a book about love and lost. I loved seeing the brotherhoods acting like brothers and I adored seeing co parenting with Xcor, Layla, Qhuinn and Blay. This book managed to restore my love for this series.

The Wrong Bride is the first book of The Windsors series but it is not the first book I've read of this series. You can read my review of book three here.

“Why can’t I ever be anyone’s priority? What makes me so undeserving of that?”

This is a book about arranged marriage between Raven and Ares. Raven has been in love with Ares forever but she didn't want to marry someone who was in love with her sister.

I felt like I could relate to Raven's feelings for not being good enough no matter how much she worked. I just hated that she married Ares because her sister wouldn't and had to deal with trying to measure up to her big sister not only in her parents eyes but also in Ares' eyes.

I have complicated feelings towards Ares. I loved him but he was also such a dumbass. I understand him being thorn between his feelings between the sisters but as I relate a lot to Raven, I wish we had seen him choosing Raven more. Thankfully in the end he chooses Raven's feelings over his past relationship. After getting over some of his actions in the beginning of their marriage I loved how possessive and protective he was about Raven.

Raven was everything Ares has ever wanted and he wanted to make sure Raven never doubted it. She was the smartest, sweetest. most loyal and hardworking woman he knew. She was always there for him and never let him down. Ares wasn't truly living before her and she made him realize what true love was.

“You’re everything I didn’t realize I needed, and now that I’ve had you, I can’t go back to a life before you. Not ever. No matter what.”

I couldn't stand Raven's sister, Hannah or their mother. Hannah just acted like a self-centered bitch and I guess their mother spoiled her so much that she didn't care who she hurt to get what she wanted. I wish we had seen more focus on the fact that Raven was only born to save her. I adored to see Raven putting herself first and realize how toxic these two who should love her were and how she deserved better.

The Wrong Bride was angsty romance but it felt like I suffered through most of the book but I enjoyed every minute of it. The Wrong Bride is a book about giving love a change and self worth.

Her Beta is eleventh book of Shifted Love series. I love how each of these shapeshifters can find their mates.

Evette felt like she had known Leyton forever. It was almost like being with him was just right but she was leaving town. Thankfully he tracks her down and explains what they are to each other.

All in all this was a quick read and I loved how these two knew immediately accepted each other and how Evette was able to get a family again with Leyton.
